Sail days give a boost to team

A NEW MICE (Meeting,
Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) product in Victoria
is the Dockland Sailing School , operating out of Victoria
Harbour at The Melbourne Docklands.
Fun two to four
hour "hands-on " sailing or fully catered structured
sailing based programs anywhere around Port Phillip Bay are
now offered by Dockland Sailing School.
Along side an Australian
Yachting Federation accredited instructor, conference and
incentive customers not only get an insight into sailing and
a different view of the city from Docklands , Victoria Harbour,
Hobson's Bay or Port Phillip Bay , they actually get to sail
and steer the yachts themselves.
Loose, comfortable
clothing, white or clear soled shoes, plus a small bag with
sun cream, hat, 'sunnies', a sweater or windbreaker and water
bottle are the essential sailing gear
Chief Instructor
Tony Legg - who runs an associated corporate leadership and
incentive sailing program SEA Leggs -said: "That's all
they need as we provide the yacht, instructors, the water,
the fresh air, a different view of Melbourne, the action and,
on most occasions, the breeze.
Dockland Sailing
School also supplies motivational leaders and event catering
as required. For the corporate market, events range from just
learning to sail and working as a team with the 'Day on the
Bay' program, through to 'Team against - Team' racing, where
two or more identical yachts race against each other.
The school uses
appropriate, yachts for the skill level sought and the number
of participants. Yachts range from a two to three person off-the-beach
dinghy, up to a 10 metre catamaran capable of carrying up
20 participants.
